1. Who we are
This website, novafin.co, is operated by Novafin SRL, a company registered in Romania at Calea Mosilor, Nr. 88, Entrance F, Ap. F1, Sector 3, Bucharest, 030152, trade register no. J2024034330005, VAT/CUI RO50756893 ("Novafin", "we", "us"). Novafin SRL is the data controller for personal data collected through this website.

2. What data we collect
We collect personal data only when you actively submit it through a form on this site, currently the free AI audit request form. This includes: your name, work email address, company name, company size, and any message you choose to add describing your operations. We also automatically log your IP address and submission timestamp for spam and security purposes.
We do not use tracking cookies for advertising profiling beyond standard Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads conversion measurement, which use aggregated, pseudonymous analytics data. We do not sell personal data.
3. Why we collect it (legal basis)
We process the data you submit on the basis of your consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR), given when you tick the consent checkbox and submit the form, and our legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR) in responding to genuine business enquiries. We use this data solely to:
- Review and respond to your free AI audit request
- Schedule and conduct the audit call
- Prepare and send the written audit report
- Follow up on the enquiry by email, if relevant to the request you made
We do not add you to a newsletter or marketing list from a form submission alone, and we do not share your data with third parties for their own marketing purposes. We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data.
4. Who can access your data
Your data is stored on our website hosting provider's server and is accessed only by Dumitru Condrea and any Novafin team member directly involved in evaluating and responding to your request. We may use standard infrastructure providers (hosting, email delivery, analytics) that process data on our behalf as processors, under their own data protection commitments. We do not transfer your data outside these operational needs.
5. How long we keep it
We retain lead and enquiry data for up to 24 months from your last contact with us, after which it is deleted unless a longer retention period is required by law (for example, if the enquiry becomes a signed client engagement, in which case standard contractual and accounting retention rules apply instead). You can request earlier deletion at any time, see Section 7.
6. Security
We apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect submitted data, including restricted server access and protected storage. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, but we take proportionate steps for the type of data we handle.
7. Your rights under the GDPR
If you are located in the European Economic Area, or the GDPR otherwise applies to you, you have the right to:
- Access the personal data we hold about you
- Correct inaccurate data
- Request erasure of your data ("right to be forgotten")
- Restrict or object to processing
- Request a copy of your data in a portable format
- Withdraw consent at any time, without affecting processing carried out before withdrawal
- Lodge a complaint with your national data protection authority, or with Romania's ANSPDCP (www.dataprotection.ro), the supervisory authority in our home jurisdiction

8. Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads to understand aggregate site usage and measure the effectiveness of our advertising, using standard first-party cookies. This data is processed on an aggregated basis and is not used to build individual marketing profiles beyond what Google's own platform provides. You can control or block cookies through your browser settings at any time.
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy as our data practices evolve. Material changes will be reflected by an updated "last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes means you accept the revised policy.
